Ever seen those diet commericals were someone says, "I used to be a size 12 and now I am a 4." O course these have a before and after picture. But it is not the pictures I am talking about. It is the fact that the woman said she was a 12! A freakin' size 12!
I don't know if anyone has ever think about this, but those commericals really tick me off to say the least. Is a size 12 really fat? Come on! When I see that, I think to myself, You must have been a fat cow! (Sarcasitcally, of course. :) ) The smallest I have seen is a 14, which I am not too far from at this point since doing the low carb thing for about a year.
Now I realize that these commericals are designed to make you pay for the product as all advertising is geared toward that goal. Some say you will feel good. In this case, they want you to feel bad so you can buy their diet products.
I just now ignore those commericals because it is how you feel about yourself that matters. I am not saying I am not trying to be healthy because I do follow a diet and exericise, but you still have to like yourself, whether you are a 4, 12, 16, 24, etc.
Nope. As long as you are healthy and have good BMI, then it works out. I mean if you are a size 12, eating macdo's everyday and sitting on your ass, then that is unhealthy. I am a size 10 (and super short for my size, so it makes it harder), but I have been recently excersising and trying to make healthier choices.
ReplyDeleteAnd sometimes being a size 12 is just how your body is made. I mean, some people are made more naturally round and all that junk.
